_marriedlife_ about wedding anniversary gift ideas and I never know what to say, I don't think marc and I have EVER given each other a gift for our anniversary! sometimes we do a fun "us" thing, like for our first we went on a big trip to KC, stayed in a hotel, went to worlds of fun. this year for our fifth you could say, unofficially, that we road tripped up to Minneapolis. but I don't even remember if that was for our anniversary, I think it was just coincidentally around our anniversary. and it sounds funny because you'd think for an anniversary trip, you'd want time to yourselves, whereas we stayed with friends. but we were away from our child! that IS time to ourselves, egads.but aside from that we always just feel good every year about remembering the damn date. it's possible that we rank high on the world's list of anti-romantics so maybe that's part of it, or maybe we're just realistic and people who do spend hundreds of dollars to remember one day (where they spent thousands of dollars) are the silly ones.
so, a poll. kinda for married couples but I put an asterisk by marriage because I realize there are lots of fully legitimate very committed relationships that are not legally married, etc. if that's you then just pick a date.
